A Dual Sport Date With Sally - A Solo Riding Adventure

One of the perks of life in the Pacific North West is having access to large amounts of public land. Those of us who live here are incredibly fortunate to live in a place where the outdoors and public lands are respected by so many. Of the many gems here in the state include some well known places such as the North Cascades. However, there are many places that are totally off the radar and many people that live here have never heard of them such as, Ardenvoir, Fox Peak, Conconully, Old Baldy Mountain, Sugar Loaf, French Corral, Cooper Mountain… just to name few.

This video represents my experience from a three day holiday weekend in July doing another exploratory trip starting from my home north of Seattle in Arlington and looping around through remote mountains to escape and unplug from the modern world and all her problems ... just a couple of days of rest and relaxation. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was at the beginning stages of bacterial pneumonia. It took nearly all summer to over come it. In the end, good times, great views and some surprises were part of the experience and well worth it..

The format of this video presentation is an experiment of sorts. For the first time I’ve added a narrative overview, courtesy of my wife, Lori. I hope you like it. If it works out, I plan to do more of these in this style. Lori and I both had fun doing this one together. Thanks for Riding along,   ~GrizzLee
