Some background....
Last year we lost our Dog Kamiah. She was a wonderful member of the family and loved to go backpacking, snow camping as much as any dog.
The one thing we couldn't do is take her with us on our moto trips. It was always sad to leave her home or put her up with friends whenever we left. We could see the sadness in her eyes everytime we geared up... even for a short ride. We could tell that she wanted to go with us.
Looking on Craiglist we came across this BMW Sidecar rig and it just seemed perfect. The price was very reasonable.
In any event, we need to get our licenses and training finished. Adittionally, there are a few modifications we need to have done to make this bike fit our lifestyle.
Now we need to find a new dog. It is always hard to replace a loved one. But we are on the lookout for a female golden retriever. Preferably a Canadian waterdog. Only time will tell.
