Side Car Jaunt with the Missus

 Anxious to ride and a little bit of evening sun, I suggested that maybe we got for a short jaunt on the new SideCar  to get a feel of what its like.

To my surprise and to Lori's surprise, we both enjoyed having a passenger. Normally on 2 wheels, we prefer to have our own bike. But the sidecar... it's different.All this time Lori detested being a side car Monkey, I think she despised the name more than anything.  But once she got in the car and began leaning with me in the turns I could see that big smile come across her face.    

We only went out for an hour or so, riding the back roads around Arlington Wa and out to the Sound. We stopped and took some pictures.Lori mentioned that she could see how being a passenger in the dirt would be a great deal of fun, because of their active participation as a pasnnge.r..

 Lorri sat in the cockpit of the R1200GSA.She was amamzed at how big the bike was. Also initmitated by the all the electronics of, not only the bike, but the sidecar as well, Being the trooper that she is, she signed up for a sidecar safety course at the end of April. Between now and then we will have to get soem more training. Hopefully, by the tiem hse goes, I'll be able to pass on soem of the skills I learned.

We are excited for what the fure may hold for us and this new adventure beast.
