The coastal regions of Washington, Oregon and Northern California are some of the most scenic in the lower 48 states. Although I have traveled most of these roads several times over the years, every time I go, I am still amazed and still discovering new places to explore. In this case, I explore parts of the Lost Coast and turn inland a bit to tour the Salmon River and out to the chain of volcanoes in starting in California and heading north before inclement weather set in and forced me to change plans.
